How much does a website cost?
Our design packages start as low as 25,000 KSh for a simple, professional online presence.
All our packages include hosting fees for 3 months and a domain name for one year.
How long does it take to build a website?
This strongly depends on the kind of website.
A simple, static websites can be set up in a couple of days, provided copy/paste ready content and images are provided by the business owner.
More complex sites, sites with interactive features (online stores, booking engines, etc) or sites where content and images need to be created can take several weeks to go online.
In any case we strive to get your website up and running as quickly as possible. During the design process we put a ‘Coming Soon’ page online to announce the upcoming start of the site.
Do I need to buy hosting separately?
No. East Africa Host runs it’s own hosting servers, so with purchasing a website you get a full package including hosting and domain name.
Can you help me with domain and email setup?
Definitely. Each design or hosting package includes one primary domain name for one year, additional domains can be ordered and will be charged separately if required. With renewal of your hosting your primary domain name also gets renewed.
Domain based email addresses (example@mydomain.com) are included in each hosting package. We will be happy to set them up for you and on request configure your email client or gmail account to use them from within the gmail web interface.
Do you build online stores with M-Pesa?
Yes. We use the pesapal payment gateway to enable mpesa and card payments
Can I update my own website later?
Yes. All our websites use WordPress, the most common content management system worldwide. We offer training on how to update your WordPress website.
